Custom high mount reservoir $75
What material? Looks like mild steel.....

And is it tabbed for install, or is it specifically for that spot on the 3rd gen?

Dave, Kevin, I purchased a 3.0 system 4 moths ago. I installed the TG pump and reservoir and lines. All looks tight. I jacked up front and turned wheels lock to lock 20 times, then ran engine 2 minutes without any steering input. When backing out of my garage, the pump cavitates, bubbles are showing in the reservoir. Fluid is 1/16" from top of reservoir. If I turn wheels quickly,with engine off, fluid will spill out of reservoir. I bled system twice now. Any ideas?

Does anyone have a writeup on there install on there 4runner or truck, im installing kit on a 92 4runner and was looking at different parts kit dident come with instructions thow, i have tank in after moving fuse box and wireing harness, going to install pump tomarrow but wondering i see where the fluid enters pump from tank but the pressure side i know i need to grind the metal line is says but myne has a big round end on the line is that what i cut off and grind to fit the coupler? Then after that i know it goes to the box somehow threw box into ram out the ram back into box and then im guessing i go outa the box into the cooler and outa the cooler and back into the tank. Does that sound right?
i know i have im guessing its the factory cooler or some kinda lines that go from the box to that brake/steering fluid box on the pass frame do i or can i bypass that all together?
Any help would be great and very appreciated.
Thanks

yes, you pretty much have the right idea. You may have some differences because it sounds like you have a.b.s. Here are TG's instructions for 4 cyl but the hose routing still apples. http://www.trail-gear.com/pdf/130502-1.pdf" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Here is their v6 instructions that they just came out with. It looks pretty straight forward just diff the way we attach the hose.

Ya this 4runner has the abs but i wanted to do away with it anyways because im running full width axles and dont need it on a trail rig anyways.
So the hard line that i cut will be the pressure line going back to the box correct?
Thanks for the help.
