I sold off the last 4Runner that I had for 6 months. I wanted to build something different. Here it is, its a 1970 FJ40.

Dave is buying it back. He said he couldn't bear to part with it :( . Since I've already built a 4Runner I thought I would go at a 40.

I'm not going to chop it up. I will leave the factory engine, trans & t-case. I don't want to change the interior or the body. I will build a new cage.

I'm going to leave it with Dave this Saturday for a rewire and a look up the tail pipe. He said it should only take a few hour and he said I could wait for it  .

I just dropped the FJ off at Davez. He is going to rewire it and he's going to put TBI Injection on. I figure it will help out the factory 6 cyl engine at altitude of 6000' and not to mention it wont flood out on hill climbs and off camber spots.

Dave can you post pictures as you go please. Dave said with the injection it should add at least 100hp. So when its all done I should have somewhere around 105hp
